We need a list of volunteers from each municipality or organization no later than Friday, January 31st.
Needed on February 4th:
5 from Valencia County to help prep legislator gift bags.
Needed on February 6th:
25 from Village of Los Lunas
6 from Los Lunas School
5 from Valencia County for VC Day
Please provide names of your volunteers to me or Pat Jaramillo. Please let us know what they are willing to do (cooking, cleaning, unloading, end of day packing, other, etc.). We will place people where needed.
Plan to depart from your community very early. We plan on unloading in Santa Fe no later than 7:00 am. This is where we need the most help to set up. We begin serving legislators around 11:00 am. (Deliveries coordinated with the Sergeant at Arms) Clean up/tear down happens around 1:00 pm, which is also a big time we need help. Done around 2 pm.

Service is at the heart of what we do in Rotary. Two recently posted handbooks can help you plan projects that prioritize long-term benefits for the communities you serve. These resources provide a framework, guidance, and tips for planning and executing projects that create lasting change:
The Conducting Community Assessments handbook (formerly known as Community Assessment Tools) guides you in working with community members to identify their priorities.
The Rotary Impact Handbook will help you measure your projects’ success and use concrete data to demonstrate progress and results.
