This year, we’ll serve 100 children from the Los Lunas School District — our largest group ever (previously 60)!

To make this possible, we’ll need all hands on deck — members, spouses, friends, and our Interact Club. Let’s come together to make this a warm and joyful experience for every child we serve.

After studying journalism and managing restaurants, Nancy’s volunteer work with the elderly inspired her career in public administration. She now serves as Deputy Administrator for the Village of Los Lunas and will share insights from her journey and current initiatives in local government.

Join us for a presentation by Pacific Fusion, an innovative fusion energy company making strides in Los Lunas. Their 200,000-square-foot facility at Los Morros Business Park serves as the manufacturing hub for components of their fusion demonstration system, which will later be assembled at their Mesa del Sol campus.

Hear from Pacific Fusion about their pulser-driven inertial fusion technology, their rapid growth in New Mexico, and the impact of their facility on local employment and economic development. This is a unique opportunity to learn about cutting-edge energy innovation happening right here in our community.

We’re excited to welcome David C. Chavez as our speaker this week.

A lifelong New Mexican raised in Belen, David has spent more than four decades advocating for people who need a strong voice during some of life’s most difficult moments. His work as a personal injury attorney has earned national recognition, but what truly sets him apart is his deep connection to New Mexico and his commitment to serving our local communities.

David comes from a remarkable New Mexico legacy, with roots that run generations deep and a family history dedicated to public service, leadership, and preservation of our state’s rich heritage. That sense of responsibility and pride in New Mexico is reflected not only in his legal work, but also in his long-standing support of community organizations—including our club.

As his billboards proudly say, David is “as local as red and green,” and we’re grateful for his continued support and involvement.
